Oh, what town do you live in? I have friends all over Illinois who can come by with cash and purchase the unit.

Make sure the pics have, in addition to the unit, the box with part numbers and part numbers on the stickers for the motor and mast.

I can still use the bezel and nut. The bezel I can get NOS if necessary on ebay but the nut isn't there anywhere .... I picked up an NOS Antenna (was waiting for pics from a member that didn't arrive so I picked it up elsewhere) already. I'm waiting for it to arrive ... but I don't think it will have the nut ... it may have a couple of new bezels in the box though??!!!!
 
Let me know where you got the nut too, if you could. I had mine changed too earlier this year and the replacement that GM currently sells has a black bezel but a chrome nut on it as pictured below.

Yep. It should be the same. I saw the one on Ebay for 50 bucks. It is chrome. I think he should just buy that used one from you and throw a coat of trim black on it and it will be good as new. Yours looks to be in good enough shape that he probably doesn't need to paint it. Some parts can't be found new, and when you do find them, they are at gold plated prices.

Or maybe you need a set of the original valve stem caps? Also picking up a load of third gen parts tomorrow from a guy getting out so of you ned something let me know.
 
The OEM base bezel doesnt have a gasket.

I get my OEM gray valvestem caps from mid 80s junkyard spare tires, yeah Im a cheap O.

The NOS antenna came in tonight and it looks awesome ... even has the bezel ... so that's $15-25 saved. I have to look at my antenna tomorrow ... now that I see how it's set up I'm wondering if the only thing missing on mine is the nut and the antenna may be correct? I'll check it out tomorrow.

Parts are coming down. I just picked up a set of NOS wheel well moldings for my GTO that sold for about 25% of what they sold for 2 years ago. Wow ...

Like I said ... tomorrow I'm picking up a bunch of 3rd gen Firebired/TA parts from a guy getting out. If there's something ya'll need .... let me know and I'll see if I've got it. I know he's got a bunch of stuff ... I'm looking forward to seeing what they are.

I'm looking for both tan front seat belt receivers in good condition, not cracked, and also the rear tan plastic headliner retainer that has four screws in it and also in good condition and not cracked.

Let me know if you stumble across any and how much shipped to 60451. I can pay you via paypal.
