I have recently found out that the 1st release will be a 1/18 red 1989 GTA Trans Am(1500 made) in about a month, than a 1/18 1989 black GTA(1500 made) about a month after that, then the long awaited for 1/18 1989 Turbo Trans Am will finally be released. Production #'s were originally set for 3000 made, but have been scaled back to "only 2200 made"!!! Get 'em if you can....

So about three months. We've all heard that a few times before. I'm sure glad I quit holding my breath. I think I ordered mine in March, my wife said it would be my birthday present (may 9th) but I guess she didn't specify which year.

O-well, thanks for the update!
 
Welllllllllll, I just got off of the phone with 1stopdiecast.com about 5 minutes ago, and they told me within 30 days for the release.............I hope he's right!
 
Late Sept I'm told. It's gonna be one of those things when it shows up on your door step and all over ebay they are out! :)
 
When I ordered mine a few days ago they said it was expected to be released on or around September 12th. On the upside, supercar1.com apparently gets their stuff out the door pretty dang quick--I ordered another model (1:18 scale yellow/black 1970 Buick GSX--last one they had) along with my TTA model, and it already arrived yesterday!

Update....the 1989 Red GTA's & the 1989 Black GTA's are in stock & being shipped out as of today....
The best news though is the 1989 TTA's are now just 30 days away....

I preorded one of those 24k gold TTAs as well. Only 60 will get produced, $139.

Yes on the count of 60, posted on the websites that offered them.

They will be made in 24k gold and offered exclusively through Mini Muscle
Cars. There will be less than 100 produced.

I believe they can be pre-ordered through Minimusclecars.com.

I cant seem to find where they mention a gold plated edition.....

Can they be ordered on line?

Have they decided for sure if they are going to number the cars?
 
good thing I got one just in time, I debated if I wanted to spend the money or not but then I figured it'd look nice in my closet or on my dresser :teehee:
