5.5 BS, i know they fit third gen because they were on a 91 z28, and they would have fit if it wasn't for the fins on the brake caliper, and i was willing to do anything to the caliper.
For the front you're probably only going to be able to fit a 16" without some serious modifications. For the rear, the Greg Weld wheels for LS1s should fit with some spacers. The backspacing is wrong but your inside diameter should clear the calipers. As for grinding the fins, if you're not worried about how stock the car is grinding the fins on the rear really won't make a difference and the calipers shouldn't be too hard to come by since I believe most 3rd gens had them and possibly some C4 corvettes (maybe someone can confirm this but I know they look very similar).
Besides for that if you don't want to do any modifications you're stuck with some custom Bogarts stealing half your life savings (I think they run about $800/wheel) or sticking with the 16s but with most TTAs the M/T DR is plenty tire unless you're planning on dipping into the 10s.
i put the front wheels on and it looks good, i am seriously thinking about grinding those fins of the rear calipers, only reason i want to put the wheels is for weight, i did notice that the stock wheels were alot heavier.
