Last Turbo Buick event for the season and saved the best for last... sunny and 75... and at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Hoffman Estates in IL. About 50 cars so far and counting. 2 TTA'S, 2 GNX'S, 1 BA custom Turbo Buick Cobra, an olds, and a bunch of really nice GN's and T-Types.....GREAT JOB GUYS.

Life is good....

John Spina, owner of Casper's Electronics, used to have a Turbo Cobra. Not sure if that's the same car (his was white) or not but the plates are different. I remember one interesting fact he told me about the car was the driveshaft was only 12" long!
 
There's a local guy here that has a grey with black stripes Cobra with a turbo 6, its a Factory Five kit car chassis, and runs 10's. He has taken it to several Cobra events and is always asked why just 1 pipe? Before he opens the hood, and it really pisses off the folks with a 427 when he runs faster than them :)

Awesome turnout for your Buick show, wished ours could draw out that many turbo 6's! Cool indeed!
 
It was a fun event and I am glad someone told me about it. Nice seeing you again. There were 3 TTA's there and two without rear spoilers. No pics of my car? lol
 
Looking good representing!! I was at Kirban's open house today big Buick event on the east coast. We had 3 GNX's about 30 turbo Buick's and a Delorian! lol It's amazing how many turbo Buick's and TTA's were out rolling around the country!

82 cars in total.... two more cool cars showed up too.... a custom white GN with a front mount turbo you could see through the grill and a parachute on the back.....and then a "T 6" Cadillac CTS. I don't remember Cadillac making those...LOL....but very cool. I will post pics of them soon...
 
That Cadillac is awesome...be even better in black. GM are really a bunch of bafoons. Just imagine if the made caddys buick and Pontiacs with the GN engine still. Imagine horsepower it would have today...

Way to drop the ball GM...AGAIN

Ah hah, on the video they say it's his second one. I remember seeing pics of a 1st gen CTS with a GN motor from IL with the same plates.

For the record, Cadillac still makes some pretty good cars. Drove an ATS with the 3.6L and a CTS-V coupe & sedan around Road Atlanta the other day. Pretty impressive.
 
There is also the new for 2014 CTS "V-sport" model with a twin-turbo six - 420 hp and an eight-speed automatic :cool:

And yes, the new CTS Sport was at the track too. V6 twin turbo 420hp...but it was only there for show. The exterior and interior is much nicer than the current generation. I'm predicting a possible twin turbo V8 for the next V series.
 
Buy a TTA back first...my firebird tat is 2nd gen black red orange like on the hood of my 73 455 I had
My heart beats TTA...
When are you getting another TTA ?

And that guy put a V6 turbo in the caddy twice...not a corvette of twin turbo V8...some people will just.never get it
 
I'm still driving a Pontiac...for now. 6.2L LS3, 415hp, IRS, 14" 4-piston Brembos up front, FE3 suspension tuned at the Nurburgring. Sorry, but this thing is light years ahead of a TTA and I actually fit in it!

Don't remember them slapping door decals on that Pontiac and it pacing indy???
