What kind of boost gauge?

I am looking for a gauge to show vacuum & boost. I understand that the one on the dash is not very accurate. Does any one have any suggestions on the brand of gauge and the mounting location.

Tinted 7 Color 30 PSI Boost / Vacuum Gauge

this is the one i use mounted on the A pillar. i chose it over others mostly for the red option... i like my gauges to match :)

the red is a bit dark during the day, so ill set it to white when the sun is up which also looks good.

the price isnt bad either.

my car is getting a transmission rebuild done so i cant take any pics, but this old one kinda shows the mounting location. its underneath a knock gauge. i have razors alky injection kit and ran the activation and low tank level lights above the knock gauge to the sides. thats my A pillar setup.

I have never seen gauges on the "A" pillar in person. Is that a replacement pillar, or do the pods attach to it? If they attach, do you have to damage the pillar to install the pods?

Thanks

It's a kinda a snap over the the top of the old pillar cover deal. Crude, but effective. All 3 or 2 pods are molded into a replacement A pillar trim cover to cover the old piece top to bottom.

I hacked the crap out of my original pillar trim to get all three gauge harness and plumbing down through safely without binding anything. I slotted 2 long holes about 3/4" wide to do this. Next I bought some used A pillar trim to undo the damage if need be.

All said and done it looks nice.
