was this the deal of the day???

Someone posted one from Ebay on here before. I'm wondering how many were made. Is any information available? Looks like a great collectible.

$21 shipped was a pretty good deal. I already have the gold one, but I need the numbered version of the silver one.

That was a really good deal ... I've seen them hit the $100 mark sometimes ...

The bronze one (gold if you like) where sold at the Indy souvenir shop during that year so I suspect there were a larger number of them made but doubt they made 1000's of them as we would see them more often on ebay and else where.

The pewter one (see http://www.pasincorporated.com/_Media/slide01-2.jpeg) they only made 500 of and these were used as credentials is my understanding during the race ...

I got a few bronze and pewter (including one of the 5, we think there's 5, artist proofs) ...

The pewter version is very hard to find and they run up into the $250 region sometimes. I got one for sale if anyone is seriously interested.

Not to bad for the condition. Looks like it's been worn some. I have a few of these myself all never worn in perfect condition. He would have got much more if he added 1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am in the description I'm sure! I also have a pewter one that only says AP on it. I've heard that one is kinda rare :read:

Yep,
the pewter AP one is the holy grail for sure.
I have one as well. ;)
That's three of us so far. ;)
Anyone else own one?

George :beach:

Finally got the pewter #13 one from eBay this week for a great deal.
