Wanted: TTA Turbo Air Inlet Tube

TTA830

Active Member
Just replaced the hose portion but noticed that the black plastic Air Inlet "elbow" between the hose section (GM 25525662) and the actual turbo is damaged. I do not know the GM part number of the elbow I am looking for... Looking for another one. Anybody have one for sale? Its about 12" long, maybe a 20 dgeree bend coming off the turbo. Circled in red below.
PLease let me know condition & price> ?? THANKS!

NOBODY MAKE'S THIS, YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOUR OWN, you can slide your hose over it or cut to fit, just buy one for a GN. and make it work...

That was a problem and there were a change during the production to make it a bit more rigid. The fix is to cut a small (1/2 inch or so) 3" tubeing and press into it that way the clamp wont distort it.

Ebay or ano of the boards would be your only source however not seen any for sale for a long time.

Grumpy (Dan) used to do a metal / aluminium version in black that were a direct (and much better) replacement but I don't think he got any left as they sold out years ago ... maybe twist his arm and he can get 10 or so made for us ....

I would like to have one of those Grumpy pipes myself. My TTA came with a chrome pipe that is curved slightly and is hose coupled at the turbo inlet bell. The other end is attached to the original maf hose. It works pretty well, but would change it if I got something else, such as aluminum.

Mike your engine looks nice!

Grumpy have not had these made for at least 8 or so years .... maybe PM him and see if he would be able to get another run done of 10 or so?

I'm in for one just as a spare.
