I am in Huntsville, Alabama area, so not very close to NJ, but I have TTA #754 that I want to sell. I also have TTA #162 that I am saving, and I have a ’56 Chevy BelAir that I am restoring, so I need to simplify my garage area. TTA #754 is not perfect, but it was a California car so has essentially no rust. It runs OK but not as well as it should - it starts to miss at high RPMs (above 4000), and it has a weird problem in that it starts and runs fine, but if I shut it off and wait a minute, it will not re-start. It turns over fine but will not start until I wait an hour or two for it to cool down, then it will start again. I checked fuel pressure and that is good, so must be something else. There must be some component that is preventing ignition at start when the engine is warm, but doesn't affect it once it is running. I switched the ignition module with my other TTA and that didn’t fix it, so it’s something else. I am too busy to keep trying to diagnose it, and there is no shop in my area that seems to know enough about these cars for me to spend any money on them. It needs some other minor fixes like the console cover hinge spring is broken, part of the front black rubber lower air deflector is missing, and one front wheel is actually a rear wheel. It has about 67k miles, and has some nice mods including Hotchkis rear suspension, Turbonetics T-70 turbo, Evolution wastegate ATR headers, 60 lb injectors, Walbro 340 fuel pump, and trans was rebuilt at 63k miles. I repainted it a few years ago, and have some pics of the car I'll post here soon. I would take $10K for the car. If you are interested send me a PM.
