Hello All,
Bill from Westmoreland NY Here
I have a 1989 Turbo T/A is there a way to get the build number fron the VIN, or are there paid services that would provide me with some info of the car, We were told it was a very low number car #118 I think was mentioned at the sale. Thanks:burnrubber:

Hi and welcome to the board ... you just got your TTA?

What's your VIN and we can maybe figure it out for you ... if not there's always PHS (PHS Historic Services) that can help you out.

Do you have any original documentation like the window sticker, original invoice, build sheet or similar? Always interestiing to see what others got with their cars.

Plenty of helpful and knowledgeble people on this site so any questions just ask away :-)

Provide the last six numbers of your VIN.........there are some guys on here that could give a very good educated guess

Bill no problem glad to be of help.

I think you left out one digit from the VIN (last 6 is only 5) :-)

:-)

The build number is somewhere between 1152 and 1216 .... maybe someone else got some better info saved????

Thank you Jan, I guess I'll get the package from the Pontiac Site with the build sheets and such. I had no idea what this car was when it was purchaced, to say the least I am very pleased to be a part of this restoration. The car has alot of Hogkins suspension item bigger disk brakes, I think it has a 67mm turbo. But was in pieces so we do work on it each day, and I can't say enough what a help you have been, the video was huge it really made the routing and the correct stud,& bolt placement. Again Mega Thanks Bill Nicholl
