VIN number anywhere on engine block?

Driver side. Where the trans meets the engine. About mid way. You'll see a flat spot. The last numbers will be there IE: KL****** it's pretty faint and most likely covered in grease. The font is just like the font on all the vin stickers that are all over the car.

Where is it?

I guess it isn't to big of a deal as Philly already offered to climb under my car in Ohio and see the vin.

woah! hold the front door! I don't remember saying that. I remember saying I'd grab you by the ankles and jam you under your car till you saw it! :chair:

where is the vin on the block? Which section of my paint. red, yellow, or blue

Help! My Yellow Area is flat....I see no VIN...I even checked all three spots! Did any TTA's go out without a VIN stamped into the block?

That means you have a fake one and must give it to me for 100 bucks!!

Chances are someone before you could have blown it up and it's a replacement block. Very possible. Did you look really good? It's kinda hard to even see the vin there unless your on top of it. But chances are someone might have replaced the block. Might have SG1 on the block behind the motor mount.

All our blocks have SG1 casted in them so different from the 86/87 GN right? And the replacement blocks also have SG1 on them.

Look carefully on that pad as Jim said not easy to see on there all the time.

What about your transmission does that one have the VIN on it?
