I'm starting to run out of ideas on my car. Thought we had it fixed this weekend. but I was wrong. First I'll start by saying what is wrong.
Sometimes, just driving down the road, I will get a miss. Could be just once and done, sometimes its a series of misses like i'm running on half the cylinders or less. Of course there are some days when this things runs awesome. It has done this since I bought the car last year. Seems like the more I drive it and shut it off, then start it back up again, it gets worse. It has gotten to the point where it would flood itself out and shut off sometimes (rare occasion, but it does happen). But there is no rhyme or reason as to when or why it does this. The only thing I've noticed lately is that if you jump on it when it starts to miss, it will run just fine.
Next, things I've tried. Set the cam sensor(off slightly). Set the TPS(also off slightly). Tried different coil pack and module, and also MAF sensor both from a friends GN. Replace O2 sensor, checked ground from battery to block. Checked the fuel pressure( little high, about 6- 8 psi. need to get an adjustable regulator). The car has just under 46,000 miles. New Plugs, wires, Map sensor, O2 sensor, Turbo Tweak stock chip. No vaccum leaks, I do have a small crack in my right exhaust header. Also have a Scan master hooked up and running an older Snap-on scanner. Nothing showing up anywhere to cause what is going on, and there have never been any codes. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm starting to run out of Ideas. :wall:
