Vaper Canister Intake Valve Part Number Needed

Hey everyone. Does any of you by chance have the part number for this valve... I have a feeling that mine is in need of replacement. My TTA builds excessive pressure in the fuel tank and I have a feeling that this valve may be the culprit from articles that I've read.
Thanks,
Johnny

That is a typical third gen problem. Do a search over on TGO and you will see you are not the only one with the issue. Wish I could help you with a part number.

Very,Very hard to find new. It's been suggested that the 4th gen share's a suitable replacement, but again those are hard to find new as well.
Your best bet is to gently pull yours apart and clean it out, there are threads about how to do this on TGO.

I have stock piled a couple used ones for this exact reason but I haven't taken them apart yet to inspect them. The last "cherry" one I got a year ago cost me $35 used.

EDIT: I'm making the assumption we're talking about the tank vent valve near the rear axle.

I was actually able to find a "like new" one today at my local Pick N Scrap with almost perfect factory GM lines... Lucked out! It is from a 90's Iroc type Camaro.

The valve located close to the canister on the output line from the tank.
