Turbo brace/ bracket

I was curious myself. I got a new belt tensioner from this same place on e-bay and it had John as the seller and on the box it had Jack. From Cotton's Performance.

It could be the same guy or then again it could be his son.
 
Mike you know what the other piece looks like right? i might have to fab that one. The guy that does all my exhaust work is going to let me use one of his lift's to install the 3" JD d/p and new turbo, just trying to get all my duck's in a row so i don't tie up his lift for more than a day, i have to change both at the same time since it has a ex. wastegate now...
 
You might have to fab that one. You could call some of the vendors and see if they have that one, such as Cottons or Kirbans. Besides, that J Bracket is for a near stock set up.
 
That other bracket is very hard to find as it's TTA specific ... could easily be laser or edm cut and bent if we had a drawing of it .... not sure if someone got one off their car and could trace and measure it for you Robert.

Yeah i though if i had to i could take the one off #308 and copy it, i think it has a lift ring built in or look's like one..

I emailed him and confirmed that his name is indeed John and his nickname of Jack came about among other names as his father was John Sr.
 
Rob what bracket are you talking about? I thought there was only one bracket holding the heat sheild? Pics would help. I am confused.
 
This bracket is attached the front passanger side intake stud then the back of the heatshield large "hook" shaped bracket per link above that Mike posted to ebay.

This is mine after powdercoat ... have to find one after I installed it and post as well

Ya they are hard to come by but I think it would be kinda expensive to copy it ..?? Then how many can you sell ??

I'm sure you could sell at least 5... over 30 yrs... since i'm not worried about being "correct" on a highly modded car maybe i can fab something that will function the same or serve the purpose ...

just use the GN one then.. will serve the same purpose
