Tta Running Super Rich

Hey guys have a 89 TTA I recently purchased. Car ran great for a few weeks after purchase, but the other day I was out driving it I pulled up to a light and the car started to idle noticeably rougher. I took off and the car was very under powered ( borderline not drive able) noticeable black smoke out the exhaust and all the plugs are black. I replaced o2 and map sensor to no avail. I've tried searching the forums but couldn't come up with an answer. The car only has 50k on it.

Time for a maf sensor. You will need to change your plugs also obviously. They do Not make quality maf sensors for our cars anymore so the solution is a maf translator. Many vendors sell them and they allow you to run a far superior LT1 or LS1 maf sensor. Better idle and wot characteristics are some of the benefits.
