I seen something at oreillys that was interesting ,its the same material used on our shields.. take some pics next time i'm there.
 
thanks Robert. it may take something like that to get it done, i tried to research whoever made the nice aftermarket ones and got nowhere. i wouldnt mind buying the pattern from them and sourcing the materials..if anyone knows who they are, please hit me up! thanks, Bill
 
G Body Parts used to make them, probably about 4 years ago. That is where I got mine, and it took a while as they only made them to order. You could call them and see if they have the pattern.
 
Yeah i got mine from Gbody at the 2011 reunion.. they sold all they had the first day but i didn't expect them to have the f-body t-top bar in stock either.. so it wouldn't hurt to check, i believe they sold for $125 then.
 
yeah guys, i have talked to Gbody parts a few times and they dont have any info. just that they cant get them. Jan actually told me about them and i only bought one and damaged it last summer..should have bought a few. Hopefully somebody will get the message and make them again. i dont think it would take much if you have the pattern and material sources. Any other ideas would be appreciated! Bill
