This TTA is unusual and 4 Sale, whut ya think?

For some reason this super low mile TTA has had it's wheels changed to 91-92 Z-28 wheels and had a ricer wing stuck on it. It looks like a very well kept car, but I think the mods will keep it from selling. If they put it back stock it would do way better IMO. whut ya all think?

I have seen that car on ebay a while back. I don't understand why you would do that to such a low mile collector car?? Where the heck is the original spoiler?

I wonder what the reserve is set at.

Gee guys, it is a salvage title. Description says the car was wrecked in 1989 with 600 miles on it. The stock spoiler was replaced from sitting from 1989 to 2000, still wrecked and not repaired. In 2000 this owner purchased the car with his dad and started rebuilding / repairing it. And not sure how but some how the rear seat got a nice hole in it (maybe critter damage while it was sitting?).

IMO, I'd be leary of buying a car that not only sat that long but also sat that long damaged. Buyer beware.

I talked to that guy before. He said the originall wheels were stolen off the car long ago. never put the emblems back on because he liked the clean look. He says the back seat is original, but it isnt the notchback rear seat with integrated headrest. Not sure why he replaced the steering wheel, still has the original, just missing the radio control pad. It also looked like the Map pocket was wrong. He said he would like to get around $9K. Im not sure if that is what his reserve is set at, but that is what he told me he wants.

if you could get it for sub 7-8k it might be worth it, theres alot of money that would need put into it to make it right

There is way too much going on with that car then they are telling. They never shipped the cloth cars without the high rise rear seats from what I know. If anyone buys it, I have a set of the cloth high back rear upper seats sitting in the attic from a notchback car.

It would be an OK car to have and put back to original, but the mileage scares me and doesn't seem to match the rest of the car for some reason. The car also looks to be the new type of White (brighter and not the yellow they typically are, but that could be the photos maybe). Map Pocket is wrong I think, not sure.

There is an extra brace in the engine compartment too that is weird by the AC unit. And the hoses shouldn't have needed to be changed at 2500 miles.

Just my 2 cents, but all in all it could be made back into a nice original car.
