stock struts on tta

This question I'm sure will be dumb for most but did our cars come stock with bilstein (spelling) struts. Thinking of replacing over the winter and wanted to stay stock. Thanks

I do know bilstein is not stock! I also have stock suspension, it rides and handles good so why should I mess with it. It might be ac delco I don't know for sure.

because other struts work better ! theses cars are very old struts wear out kyb's are nice adj ... I could tell a world of diff in changing the struts and rear shocks .. if im thinking right gm recommends changing them every 60k miles ... sitting in a garage is very bad on them

Bilsteins are very good. I like them but they are pricey.
I'd buy again.

Strano Performance Parts - Part Details

I bought the HD, not the Sport.

Strano use to valve these specifically (spell check)lol for the 3rd Gen's.

Drove in 3rd gen with stock suspension with adj. yellow Koni's. Nice performance strut but even on 1 (softest setting) they were kinda rough on the street. I'd say adj. strut/shocks for the track but Bilstein HD for the street. Street car = Street strut/shock

Autozone has 20% off sometimes and I think I paid $650 with free shipping. Warranty is great!

Believe it or not 3 1/2 wide front wheels make TTA's and GN's ride like caddys. They don't want to follow the deep groves in the road
