Just need a stock chip. I removed mine and have miss placed it as of now.I might have the car sold but the new potential owner is asking for the stock chip if I can find one. Let me know. Thanks

Thanks.. No way in hell its worth $425 bucks. I will just look around more...or I need to start to smoke some crack and start listings my NOS stuff for huge money..lol

Here is a pic of the stock chip that was in my TTA, this was taken a few years ago, I would probably sell it, but I don't know where it is!engine bay 008.JPG

Thanks. Yeah I have no need for it at all, but the potential new owner would like to have it if I can find mine or get him one. The stock chip sucked anyways

I hear ya! Not sure why that guy thinks it is worth that much, but who knows. I was just looking at the part number for you to reference. :)

hmmm... seems like another few years down the road and all gasoline engines will be illegal  - then that stock chip won't even make a good paperweight o_O

I can burn the stock file onto a chip if that helps you any….won't be the original chip with the original silver sticker on it, but will be the stock program. I'm sure I still have some blank chips laying around in the parts drawer…if I remember how to hook up the chip burner that I haven't used in 5+ years :) Even if the stock chip was usable with todays gas, it wouldn't work worth crap with the mods in your sig if that's the car he wants it for.

Good to know. As of now I got cold feet and backed out of the trade. A C5 with mods just is not worth trading for my TTA, even tho its super nice. I'm hoping I can still find the stock chip I took out, even though I will never need to use it. I would probably just have Eric at TT burn me a chip for my 80's in 93 and go from there if I need to down the line. Thanks for all the help guys.

Put your car back in the garage and keep it! ;)

That was the plan. I found my stock one anyways today. I'm just going to get one burned for 93 and 80's just to have it as a back up if E85 ever goes away. Hell I'm pretty sure I could just reprogram the E85 chip to work with 93 also by changing the timing myself.
