Hi guys ... just discovered that my radio/stereo is not the original (although it is close ... it's not original) so if anyone is selling .... I'm in the market.

Not original as in not a UK3 with 5 band EQ, cassette, all push button, or just not the UK3 that was installed into your particular car? As long as it is a UK3 radio it should be ok, the security system would only prevent it from working in non UK3 optioned vehicles, as you needed the remote steering wheel controls to unlock it! (see p. 2c-19 in '89 firebird owners manual)
