I think we know who owns this, but I figured I would post the link to tease Jarred since he needs another fast TTA.

Was this the car that got into that long pissin match a while back with another member on here?
I dont remember how it all started but had something to do with the dyno #s, and someone claiming theirs may be faster etc, the owner of this car then challenged them to a heads up race somewhere with his honda 4-cyl and so on and so on, turned rather elementary quick. Anyway, yeah i think $40k for that car if it includes the original motor and trans is not that bad of a deal... Only downside is not knowing who built it as the owner at the time bought it already built and with these motors knowing exactly how to build them is directly related to how it will stand up to abuse. The previous owner didnt have it very long it does not seem. What was this about? I personally think that that car was a pretty good deal!

So did the original owner ever post it for sale on here or TB? The flipper that has it now may just be a consignor rather than a flipper/dealer also and the original owner still owns it maybe?I actually said that it "was" a good deal. Not so much with the new flipper. I spoke to the owner (When it was in Michigan)a couple of times and I'm under the impression that he owned the car when all the work was done.
The car really was built right as far as I can tell. If I was looking for an extremely fast car I would have owned this one.

I remember that TTA at the reunion. Very nice, I am surprised the new owner is selling so quickly.
Wonder what the last owner ended up selling it for? It was well worth the $32K he was asking before imo.
