shroud

I have a few nuts and bolts on mine where the rivets are missing. I don't have a rivet gun that big.

i think i will look at northern tools or something similar to find a big kit with alot of diffrent sizes, he who dies with the most tools wins!

I got my rivet gun from Harbor Freight, it uses a lot of different size rivets and it rotates for angles. It has rivets that come with it. It looks like the size for the shroud might be included.
 
Mine is beat up too! Looks like PO scraped it a few times, its cracked at the bottom where the mesh screen is. These old cars. Sigh. Its always something. We are all making carmotorsports some coin .

I don't know which I like better the Shroud or the 4 radiator hoses that I put on for $99.
 
Supposed to be mesh in the opening. I guess yours is missing. Mike - you have a link to that gun? Is it big enough to handle the rivets that hold in the power window and door lock motors?

most likley you will have to look a little harder than harbor freight for something like that

4 rivet sizes, the largest is 3/16"

If you need another rivet gun I am sure that make one for larger rivets than this one.

Ha ha-theres a lot I dont know either. I crawled under the car recently to check the intermediate pipe, I wanted to make sure I had the 2bolt 4 bolt flange and I saw that shroud-it was really beat up! I would drive myself crazy if I was trying to make the underside as purdy as the car that most people see. Thats a project for another time.
