Hi guys, after searching high and low,a few prospects,I found exactly what I was looking for.
15k orig miles,all orig paint,exhaust,int,eng,no mods etc.Tons of paperwork,window sticker,press kit,program from Indy that day,ticket stub.No owners kit though,oh well,not enough to break the deal.
The only thing it does have done to it,it has Hotchkiss frame connectors, and the wastegate sol is disconnected and a manuel boost controller is in place. Will swap it out and put that on my GN,and put it back on the solenoid.
I could'nt be happier, super clean undercarraige/eng bay, suspension, even the drivers seat bolster is in way above avg condition we expect to see.But does have a little more than I would like to see for a rear main seal leak,so I will be fixing that soon.
Thanks guys,Paul

nice car

Thanks guys, all the years of having my GN,knew about these cars, and never gave them to much thought but upon recent deep thought about what car to buy next I started looking at these ,joined here and really fell for the look of the car.NTM,with all its historical history, design, etc, think this was a very good choice.
A good amount of my friends who are into cars, had no idea what this really was,to see the look on their faces when you open the hood is priceless !!!!!!

Looks like a great car. Paint looks really good for orig. I like the picture of the TTA and GN together. Nice!

That really is a great looking TTA, but that 1st pic. makes me want a GN too! They were meant to be together. Great looking cars! Congrats!

Thanks kymmee,I am/was very particular when it was coming down to buying one of these, had to be orig paint, this is just me,I did'nt want one that had a front plate screwed to it,because now I'd have to paint it,and it would'nt be orig paint car after that.I do paint/body so am very aware of checking out a car for a repaint or if it was orig.
My car did however must have had the cracked spoiler as it does have the repo fiberglass one on it,in which the prep/paint is not to my standards,so I will be removing it and doing it over, since it is not the orig one anyway.Unfortunately my hood has a scratch about 3/4'' long in front of the hood grate that I will painstakingly paint inside of and clear, wet sand with 2000 on my fingertip as I do not and will not paint the whole hood.
The paint on the car to me is unbeleivably nice for original, and if any of you can see the eng and underside in person, shows that the previous owners really went out of their way to keep this car like this.Quite honestly,I have a 2000 Durango R/T,black, that I bought brand new,and has 15k orig on it,and have to say,I have kept that like a time capsule,as it is even nicer than my TTA.It all depends how anal the owner is,and I geuss thats me !!!!LOL Who else would do that to a Durango.
So,as I said I could not be happier of the car I found. But as I wrote,it does have frame connectors on it though,a pice of me wishes they were'nt there ,but some of you had said they help alot and most would put them on.Since they are there,I'm not going to take them off.

You mean an AC Delco ?? Dumb question, but where can you get one, just the GM dealers or are they avail at certain parts stores??? Will def get one !!!
Thanks

Congrats, your car looks great!!!!
Any GM Dealer should have or can get one, AC Delco 75-6YR (part# 19001627) it has 650cca & fits perfectly.

Congrats............. check around, the price of those AC Delco batteries can vary by 40 bucks. Retail GM dealer being the highest. Independent shop that can buy them will have the best price.
