Legendary stuntman, director, and all around American cool guy passed away.
We had the privilege of Mr Needham joining us on the kickoff of the Bandit Run this year. He was great entertaining everyone throughout the day. My brother and I got to hang out at the hotel with him in the morning and talk about his book "Stuntman". He took many pics with us and the 30th anniversary we were were driving. Later we watched the movie Smokey and the Bandit at a magnificent theater in Lincoln, after the movie he spent an hour and a half doing Q and A about the movie and his life. What a great guy and talented man. Any one that loves a Trans Am has a connection to Hal and Smokey and the Bandit.
