What would you actually pay for an 87 GN? One owner all paperwork some very minor mods hardtop with 33,000 miles. Very nice condition, but not 100% mint. Absolutely not rust.

id say your lookin at anywere between 14-18k depending on how good of a condition its in...for the most part i see alot of these cars sell around here for usually an average of 15k
All depends on what someone is willing to pay for it at that time of sale. There is an ass for ever seat! 
I typically use eBay for a gauge as over the years eBay prices are pretty much what the "at this time" "in this economy" prices show. Going from that formula I would say 10K to 18K A GN with 20K just sold for $9600! Paint is a huge factor. The lacquer back in 87 was horrible and by now it's either checked badly or just looks bad with chips and nicks. So a nice repaint is what I'd rather have on a low mile car. Also all depends on how well the car was stored over the years and how it was taken care of.

Thanks guys that's a pretty big range. I guess the car in question would fall into the upper end of the scale, but I see them for sale all the time leading me to believe that there are plenty to go around. I see them listed over and over again on Ebay and I really would like to see what they are actually trading for? I don't think they are trading as high as the owners would like. I think all of the high BIN's on Ebay give a false sense of value.

I agree with Philly Jim on the paint....as it is an issue. But NOT ALL 87's need a re-paint. It all depends on what you want. More 87's were built than 86's. And options are a factor too. Some people are looking for factory, original paint, low miles etc... some are not. All depends on what you want and are you willing to pay for what you want. Est price IMO without seeing it 12 -18 K.
