anybody have a display light go out on the radio? radio works fine just the display is dark. took it to a radio guy and he said cant fix, probably doesnt know how. dash lights are fine just the radio. any suggestions?

they are just lamps. I've never been inside a TTA radio but most other GM ones I've been into they are usually soldered on the board. You can get them but you might have to solder them on. I would find one of those guys on eBay or something that recondition the radio's and give it to them to do. You might as well replace the belt while your in there with a good cleaning it should last a long time!
