Question On Air filter?

Hey guy's I have another question, I changed the factory Maf pipe and put new chrome pipe from the turbo to the maf censor. Replace air filter for a k&N cone, but now when I step on it sounds like if air been blow out in the corner where the ail cone is, is that normal? When I step on it, it picks up fast, but I notice that before it felt like if you where in a plane and it was about to take off. Now it picks up but I don't feel that great feeling anymore. Has anyone felt this after replacing the stock pipe for a new one with K&N filter? Maybe its me. My wife says it running just fine, but you guy's know that we can tell EVERYTHING that changes on our cars. If I step on it for a second and let go it sounds air been blown, but if I step on it and keep my foot on the pedal it picks up. let me know thanks.

i was told when you run an "open" air element, like the k+n air filter, when you stomp on it , the turbo is sucking in an enormous amount of air and when you take your foot off the gas , the turbo has got to "bleed off" that air pressure somehow and i guess it escapes out ! i was also told that the stock air-box did not do that.....restrictive too. sounds good to me!!
