Power antenna installed at rear

I am noticing the 15000 mile car from pheonix on ebay, it also looks like the power antenna is installed at the rear on the driver side. Why on a 15000 mile car?

Those things always break over time even if they had little use. I don't like the way it looks on the back.

I'm sure they put a hole there to install it. Should have done something with the front original one.

I dont like it either. Overkill with 2 antenna ports.
