Post a picture of your ride! Show off those TTA's!

Do a search and you will find the answer :-)

ASC converted any Firebird / Trans Am / TTA back in the days and the dealership could get it converted for the customer if they were prepared to part with $6-$7k or so.

ASC did all the factory conversions for the 3rd Gen camaros then for 91/92 for the Firebird but prior to 91 it was a dealer option to get it done.

I don't want to step on this post but being familar with ASC convertible Firebirds and camaros, now that I've had so many and researched ASC and their handi work, these are some of the worst, rusty cars because of conversion done by ASC. Method and quality of workmanship is poor. I think they're the best looking convertibles (F Body) but just poor poor workmanship and quality.

Fully agree, looks great but as you say the workmanship is "cheap" and for the extra money you had to spend you would have expected better quality work not just the looks.

One of the reasons they rusted was because things were cut and just covered. The two big iron channels they used from titanic take away from the cars handling vs a regular GTA...and im not saying this to just complain. I went to school for body & collision and things they showed me were the right way and the wrong way...

Don't get me wrong ASC did some very unique convertibles...The 300 ZX....that was supposed to be a fully automatic convertible but Nissan already spent millions engineering that car with ASC. If they made that car those 300 Z's wouldn't be priced at what they sold convertibles for. So You know GM opted for the BASIC no frills PKG when they contracted ASC...

#1515 came out yesterday. Took a nice cruise and a few photo's. It was a beautiful weekend. Warm and sunny.

Kymmee - I'm sure it was great to have 'em out - and they are looking good.
White has been my favorite car color for a long time!

I had the only white car in the MAGNA caravan from Bensalem PA to the Kirban open house... did meet up with one other TTA (Aaron) at the event, plus a couple of TTA owners driving their Black cars (Jim & Rich). It was a fun day, and clearly showed the reason for my tags

Just thought of this... We used to have a white Buick with a Pontiac motor  ... now it is the other way around.

(Ordered it new, delivered early in '84. Fuel-injected "Iron Duke")
Personalized with the A.R.E. wheels, tinted back windows, clear headlight covers.

#732 out for the 1st time in France, going to a wedding.QUOTE]
That is great news, so you got it shipped accross the pond safe and sound then !

Car look great, hope you both enjoyed the wedding ... and arrived in style !

Did you have to modify anything to adhere to French regulations; in the UK we need to alter the turnsignals and also need a rear foglight for instance.

Now Enjoy #732 !

Great!! Looking good (the car and the people).
I'm guessing you had the only TTA there
Nice to see that the car made it "across the pond" and is ready to roll.
Good Luck, and hope you enjoy it!

Well almost the same modifications than you.

Had to place rear fog lights, modify rear lights to put orange turn signal. Put a turn signal on the side of the car and finally place some "day light" at the front (not sure about the translation, litterally position light)

i will post pictures later to show you it will be like the seven error game

Hello Fellow TTA enthusiasts and owners.. just thought I would drop a pic of the 81. She is a survivor and gets a fair amount of looks and even a couple of trophies this last year.

Thanks for looking

Very nice 81 dechelly!

jarredsoon-Love all your cars and especially the picture of the HT on the lift! Very cool!
