Wow, congrats Steve. They make a pretty big deal about The Chief of the Pontiacs every year. I guess we'll be looking for your face in HPP in a couple of months when they run the coverage of the event.
I ended up winning my entry fee money back at the dinner on Saturday night, and a friend of ours won suite tickets for all day on Sunday which he shared with us. He also ended up getting first in the stock 3rd gen class. It was a great weekend with lots of great friends (old and new).
Here's a link of all the pictures that I took, I'll post a select few with some descriptions since there's 120+ pictures.

Kymmee's MSE, I didn't get the chance to get a picture of the "Git Kit", but I'm sure she could share a couple pictures and info about the car.
My TTAs engine bay with the mini TTA.
A cool CanAm picture from when they did a reunion a couple of years ago at the Pontiac Nationals.
A real 1969 Trans Am 4-speed, I know one of the members on here from overseas is building a replica.
The staging lanes stay completely full all day Saturday and Sunday, I imagine Friday is probably very similar with the time trials.
The drivers name should be familiar for those of you who went to the TTA reunion. Bill stopped over by my car on Sunday to talk a little bit about the TTAs some more and then invited us to come stop by his pits. Once we got there he introduced us to Milt Schornack, the genius who originally came up with the idea to put the LC2 into the GTA body. Milt was a mechanic/partner at Royal Pontiac for a long time and worked closely with the engineers at Pontiac on several of the older race car programs. He decided one day to do the engine swap and created the original black TTA test car. Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to both of them very much since they were in a rush to make it to the staging lanes as they were already running late. If you have some time, do a google search on Milt and read some of the great projects that he's worked on.
Steves (TTA850) car sitting in his pit stall all the way past the sand pit, I think he was about a mile past the staging lanes.
A cool looking 2nd gen drag car.
One of the Econoliners came by for everyone to enjoy. For $1 donation you could climb up inside and sit in the cab of it.
Overhead on the car show side
about 1/2 of the drag racing side, it continues for quite a ways down.
I never heard a final tally for the drag cars, but I heard that there was 435 show cars. Normally there's about 600 drag cars to push the event a little over 1000 cars each year. If you've never been, mark it down for next year this is a show that everyone should experience.
