Thanks again guys and gals! I'm glad you guys are finding them and like the spread. I hope it sells out! I'll have to call and see if this issue sold out by the end of the month! :)

I basically sent in all the info and that's what they wanted to do with it. I never intended on being the actual reporter but they felt that was the best way to make it article up. I kept hounding them to make it a nice spread and not a one page thing. So I guess fighting so hard for that, that's the way it came out. The other hardtop (and I should have show you Jan) was in a trailer. It was a mid 40K mile car in nice shape. The owner came up to me and told me how cool the event was and that he could only stay some of the time on Saturday. He only pulled it out of the trailer for a few hours and put it back in I think on Friday. Was strange. I just thought he would have put it in the show on Saturday but when I looked for him later that day he was gone. There was also a few other TTA's in trailers that never came out but just brought their cars there to be a part of it. Thought that was strange but hey to each his own! :)

A company contacted me who makes these really nice plaques for them with the entire article on it. It's mounted on wood really nice looking from the pics. If you really want one of them I'll post up pictures of it and give you guys the contact info and how much. They said they will make it up and send it to me and if I like it I can keep it and just pay them.

Its nice they published the photo with the owners by their cars. Can say my car and I were in HPP-even though I'm about the size of a pinhead! Jim, the TTA visor in white made it easy to find myself! LOL

Excellent, thanks for posting Chris !

Very nice article and well deserved coverage that's for sure ... I hope we all can get together again at some point in the future !!

I was able to score 4 copies,
And a friend said they got me 3 more.
Hopefully, they got the correct issue. ;)

George :beach:

I went to 3 places tonight and only found one! :disgust: Someone must have cleaned the stores out around here! The check out lady at the book store bite off more then she could chew when she asked me if I owned a Pontiac while she was cashing me out! lol

Did some searching today myself. Wanted to get a few copys, by struck out. Robert Lee called me and said I was in one of the pics, with him and his wife in the car line up.

Books a million don't have it, and Barnes&Nobles said they don't even stock the magazine anymore.

I know I can get copys of it in TN, will try there next.

I got 5 total-keeping 3 and sent Jan two. They were pretty easy to find here when the issue first came out.

I found 2 copies at the local Barnes and Noble. Just noticed my wife in the background looking in Phil's car of the pic of Jim, Chris, Scott, and his daughter.

Big thank you Kim for sending the 2 copies across the pond, very nice article and good to see some familiar people in those photos ... I'm glad I had the opportunity to attend and meet you all !

piced up 2 issues today @ books a million in myrtle beach seen wjan lol .... nice coverage maybe I can make then next meet

Enjoyed TTA reunion 2011. Another reunion in 2013 or later would work out better for me. 2012 is going to be hectic because I'm having a new house built.

It would be nice to see a few more TTAs coordinating with the TurboBuick guys that meet at the Moose Preserve restaurant in Bloomfield Hills, MI during the week of the Detroit Dream Cruise in August. Scott Kelly was there last year. Perhaps he'll swing by again.

I was able to pick up the last 4 extra copies at my local newsstand in case somebody was not able to find any or wants some extras. I will be glad to pass these along to anyone who wants them for the newsstand price of $6.00 each plus a couple of bucks to ship them....just let me know.

Ok. The title is a little incorrect: "1st annual" (!) unless I'm just not aware of the 2013 event...

That would be the "3rd annual", maybe we can have the 2012 "2nd annual reunion" in Peachtree city, GA since there is already 5 TTA'S within 10 miles of each other, three white one's, one black, one red.. hey that's a good start, lol.... :D
