Plenty of pics from Power Big Meet!!!!

Hi all!

This weekend we had the annual Power Big Meet in my hometown.
People drove there cars up here from all over Europe and flying in from USA,Canada, Australia etc...... to whatch the show.

During Sat. we had 8100 good looking classic USA cars at the same parking lot!!!!!!!!

The evening/all night cruise is about 50 mile long with US cars in all the lanes!
Appr. 80000 people where here and whatched the show during 3 days, not so bad for a little sleeping village with only 129k inhab.

This is a amazing gathering!

We have plenty of pics at our TA-forum, starting with page 2 and it goes on to 3 as well, scroll down a bit first and then you will see the attached pics.
Some have comments in Swedish and some in english, yes.... you can have a look at the Burt Reynolds promotion car there as well!
Also a Banshee is there.... 42 made.

Jan had his -84 that is stored at his parents, 30 min from me.

I didn't take any pic on his car but i have some from the BBQ, gonna put them up later today.

Yep, took my black (and red and blue Firebird to Power Meet as usual. It passed the smog test etc in Sweden Thursday last week. Power steering pump is leaking (have to sort out next time I'm in Sweden end of this month) and front passanger side brake needs a rebuild :-(

We had a great time, superb weather (around 80's) all weekend so got a nice sun tan after walking all the miles around the fieled looking at cars and talking to people and of course the huge swap meet!

I'm back in the UK after a quick trip to Paris eralier this week, flight from Sweden was delayed 2 hours so I managed to get two hours of sleep back home before heading to the airport to fly to Paris .....

Next year I might take the 20th to Sweden for Power Meet, hopefully Daniel got his TTA sorted by then and can join us in V?ster?s!

Looked at flight for TA nationals but they are like 1200 USD or so as there is no direct flights from the UK to Dayton .... so have to be SEMA or so. Looks like I'm in Seattle WA in September so maybe a detour via LA

I tried to get Dave Davies to say "Hi" to you as well! I told him which car you had, and that you had your son! I don't know if he ever did! But he did tell Uffe!! Ha! My way of being there, I guess!

Maybe you can fly direct to St Lewis, and grab a commuter plane? I don't know.
