OLD # 364 Grand Touring ASC convertible project

Ah, sooo you aren't going to install the vert parts, an cut the top off of a real TTA?
Just putting the TTA stuff in the 89 vert?
That should be easy then.

both ways are easy since I have both cars...just don't want to cut the 89 TTA. I'm going to store the roller.

Here's some of the start of #364 to ASC convertible Grand Touring ASC convertible...

Me personally, I wouldn't cut up a TTA to make a fake convertible (comment not made by me TURBOGTA)

As you can see I'm removing all the parts from my TTA, not cutting anything up, and installing them on my 89 TA convertible. The K member with rear end and all suspension wil be switched and vice versa #364 will be stored then...not cut up

It would be a different story if I were cutting #364 or taking the vin off #364 and putting it on convertible and trying to sell it as a TTA convertible, which I'm not. Won't be selling either one of them...You'd know that if you actually read the post not just made comments about cutting up a TTA...oh well free country

The convertible is going to be bright blue for a long time if not for good, I like that color
and the best part is it's my car and I'll be driving a Turbo Trans Am convertible...along with 3 others

Good progress !! Can't wait to see the convertible TTA coming to life !

I'll post more pics soon. Removed complete K member and rear end, gas tank etc. I have to reinstall all the convt 350 stuff back on TTA so I can put it away...a lot of work to say the least

Dash & column installed. Installing astro shaft and bearing
