I know most of you guys are done with minimuscle but I just got this e-mail from them....

Dear customer,

This Email is to inform you that Greenlight Collectibles factory
has decided to stop producing chrome and gold cars. There for the 1989
TTA’s that you have on pre-order will NOT be produced.
As a conciliation, WE have talked Greenlight into doing a one time
TTA chase car. This car will be a green machine; if you are familiar
with Greenlight you know that this type of car is a very limited
production car in a green color. This car will only be available to
the people who had a pre-ordered chrome car on order with us already
and will be limited to one car per customer. The production run will
be no more than 36 cars. The pricing is $89.99ea. If you are
interested in one please contact us by this Thursday the 12th.
Also, the production run of our white hard top TTA’s will be
lowered from 504 cars to only 360 cars – hope you have them already on
order as they will go fast.
We here at Mini Muscle Cars are very disappointed with this
decision and want to apologize for any inconvenience to you.

I'm sure the whores will try to eat them all up and flip them for big money anyways.
 
I figured most wouldn't but the gold car whore was making it look like he was going to buy them all up and try to sell for double the price again so I figured I'd let everyone possible!
 
I will continue to support Jeff and Mini Muscle Cars.

The ones you should be mad at are the ones who purchased multiple GOLD TTA's to make a quick buck. Jeff had nothing to gain with the car he posted on his site. He was just doing his employee a favor to market the car. Maybe a bad decision on his part to list it but it was not his car to sell to the people who were on the list who wanted one. At least he made a list to begin with. The cars were available for pre-order at $139 and change with free shipping. Like any business he gave his employee's first chance at the cars. He could have held all the cars and put a couple on e-bay at a time. Jeff was not the only one who sold these cars, they were also available at www.diecastmusclecars.com/ as Todd had six.

I ordered mine way before anyone posted it on the boards but I did give everyone a hint in the following post.

sorry I'm doing to disagree, MMC had their chance to advertise even a fellow employee car for profit is an insult to the market for that car. I mean they basically allowed their employees first choice on their cars and then let them use the companies resources to resell the cars. So please explain to me the difference between that and someone who works for walmart and takes out the Treasure Hunt Hotwheels to resell on ebay. i mean they have first choice on the toys/collectibles before they're available to the actual public so they can charge a surcharge that they make a profit on because of the benefit to the fact that they had first access to the cars. This is why employees should never be allowed the first access to any production product, a discount on a production product is fine since they have to find the full producation versoin then.

Then again that's just my opinion, but why give some benefit to someone who did nothing to deserve it.

The difference is that the owner of a small business sets his own policies and practices and that is one of the perks of the job he gives his employees. As airline employees fly for free on their airlines that is a perk of the job. I can't say what Wal Mart policy's are but if it is against their company policy it would be wrong. So when a GM dealer adds one thousand or more over the MSRP of a special edition car or GM gives preference to people like Jay Leno, I guess you will never buy a GM car again or at least from that dealer.

The buying public set prices or going rate on the GOLD cars and we know at least one sold for $336.00.

The GOLD cars would not even exist without Jeff.

I am only guessing that Jeff gave his employees first chance at the cars. They were available for weeks before I posted my hint and when I pre-ordered mine there were only a few pre-ordered. So when should an employee be able to pre-order one for themselves ?

How did you find out about the GOLD car to pre-order yours?
I "know" in a roundabout way it was from me.
But that is another story............for another time...

I just don't get how 100 Ata-boys can get wiped out with one Oh-s**t.
I believe everyone deserves a second chance.

I still think it was a bad move on mmc's part. There is nothing wrong with employees getting first crack at the cars. But the guy should have sold it on his own. By selling it on mmc's site it looks like the company is selling the car and taking a larger profit.
 
When is this green machine coming out? ohh and by the way...we have worst things to worry about then minimuscle....the ECONOMY :(
