Im finally retiring my 02 2500 gmc 8.1 gas hog 8mpg with 309k 650 miles for a 05 lly 2500 dmax with 141k miles ... it was too good of a deal to pass up.

Congrats on the newer truck purchase. House looks good in the background. Have you finished it yet?
 
Still working on the house going to be my own contractor... Been saving up, going to put a lot of quiet rock in the house every wall is insulated. Already got a hand held excelerator tune on the dmax ... Just bought a set of pro street aerospace brakes rotors an ss lines for the gn. So I got a lot of irons on the fire
 
Ill look into it ... i never had any problems with mine. my bro an dad have abt 245k on both of their trucks no issue either. does it matter if u dont use 4wd alot ?

i dought it it was bone stock down to air filter ... has a hand help on it now till i get the rest of parts an efi live . im new to the diesels but i know i ran out of road running 121 in the 8.1 with just a speed limiter off with gps
 
If you get lift pumps get the Kennedy twin pump setup. From the sounds of it, be saving money for the Suncoast stage IV....
 
ill let you know what i get an times with that heavy tommy gate ... might need a new converter but my stalk has the tow button then a D button so it wont go into od

just instaled excelerator programer put it on 3 finally got black smoke .... took it up a lil over 100 mph
