It will be installed in about 3 weeks!!

Good thing you don't get paid by the hour! ;)
Looks good!
You guys and your mods.
Makes me want another car to play with. ;)

:beach:

No to BB.

3400 stall 10" lockup, MT DR's, 60's, Julio's alky, 3" DP....dont want to speak much past that. It might have some more mods but I am not 100% sure.

Haha well I'm racing in two weeks and I want to get into the 11's with the stock turbo. I can also see myself getting into changing the converter and then the car not being ready for the race...

Murphy lives with me

Want it ceramic coated to look like this??

Not really...to much money and it is covered by a chrome shield anyway.

Haha if it blows it blows. Then you fix it. :explosion: :explosion: :explosion: :explosion:

Ya then you fix it like me. I am sending my heads to ArizonaGN where they will put them and other performance parts on a new block and ship it all back to me to drop in my car. What a headache. Unless you can fix your own car.

I am a little better off than you are up in Canada!!

Depending on what breaks (I hope nothing breaks for awhile!) I would either fix it or do a complete rebuild. More than likely if I break it would be catastrophic. I never have any knock so my headgaskets should...should being the keyword hold.

Ya that is what I am doing a complete rebuild. Sucks, but I can't wait to see how the car runs when I am done. Should be finished in time for spring, haha ha. Gonna be a long winter.

Well after a bit of misscommunicating between the converter guy and I it is on its way finally. Should be here by mid next week or so.

How big is the converter? Are you using a tranny cooler? I am going to predict 11.4 if you hook. A converter changes the whole driving experience, so like it some hate it.

Good luck with that, and I'm sure you've done this allready but have you taken the spare tire out of the car to reduce weight? I haven't even looked at mine but every lb helps. Heck I even took my bumper supports off of a mustange I had and it reduced the weight by 145lbs. I remember the first time my car hit 11's it was an awsome feeling.

To me, when you take weight out of the car it isn't the same. The spare tire will always be in the car on the street (I would never use it but....) and if it can't run the number in full street trim it wouldn't be the same. Again that is personal opinion. I also have 45 lbs. of stereo equipment and I don't plan on taking it out either.

And since my issue deals with traction taking weight out over the tires wouldn't necessarily help the cause.

yes that is true...A street car is real...I have not had experience with the TTA yet and I'm impressed to have you comment, you have given me alot of good advice about mods and I'm listening, I have my scanmaster on its way...Thats the first thing I'm gonna play with and learn. I just know that cars in this ET range and HP every 100 lbs is about 1 tenth and 1mph. Just a thought.

10" 3400 stall. B&M tranny cooler in front of the radiator. I like the bigger converter. My dads GN has a 2800 stall and drives like stock. My dad also has a switch pitch converter in his 455 and it switches between 1800 and 4400. Now the 4400 you can really notice.

I sure hope I hit 11.4. I would be content with consistent 11's.

I think you are going to do very well. 3400 should get you consistent 11's as long as you can hook. Good luck
