The holy grail of collecting things for these cars IMO! :) I'm honored I owned 2 of them at one time. Now they have moved on to new owners. Good luck with mini me!

Something else we have in common...I owned 2 at one time. One that was assembled was sold locally in Chicago and then later on eBay so not sure where that one is at. The other was new in the box, had never been assembled and was sold to a board member here.

I did see an ad for one years ago and thought about buying it but I figured 3 was a little much. DontKnow: I remember passing the ad info along to a couple of other owners in case they wanted to pick it up.

So, I might have stumbled across one of these in my area.. What is the estimated value of one of these pedal cars in good condition??? PM me your opinion if you would rather not post it here.

Thanks

It would depend on the condition so if you have pics or a full description I could weigh in better and more accurately ...

It was described to me as "good" condition. I have yet to see it though.
I was just looking for ball park values in different conditions, so I could make a reasonable offer once I see it.

BTW, I work at a pontiac dealership that sold a few TTAs. I haven't found anyone that really remembers these pedal cars at work though. I keep dreaming that there is one stashed away in one of our storage areas, but I highly doubt it.

"good" condition means different things to different people. So with that lack of available info/pics you can expect to spend anywhere from $100 on up ...

Let me know if you get some more details and pics.

Mine has a couple of cracks ... some added sticker residue from whatever they put on below the 20th anniversary stickers at one time ... and I don't have the "male" inputs that attach to the battery ...

The cracks are being worked on as we speak and I'm going to have it buffed out ... there is yellowing on the rear part ... the spoiler mostly ... and we're not anticipating that this can come out but we'll see.

Hope this helps ... post some pics when you get a chance.

Thanks Jarred ...

Hey Steve ... do you think I can take some pics of your antenna on the car so I can know what the exact bezel and nut looks like and where the antenna lies in the tubing? It would help as I seek out a replacement for the one on my car as I was told at the reunion that mine wasn't original ... I hate to replace a working unit but will in order to get it back to 100% bone stock ...

Thanks in advance ...

Yeah Glen I thought it was fortunate that I found one in Gross Pointe of all places!

I can't wait to see it all cleaned up ... my friend does meticulous work and I'm sure that whatever can be done will be. He's thinking that there's nothing that can be done about the yellowing since it's not paint but molded plastic? Any suggestions?

Thanks Jarred ...

Just thought I would update what happened.... I went to view the pedal car and it wasn't a TTA pedal car :disgust:. It was some kind of modified kids car that looked like a 3rd gen firebird. Needless to say I passed on it.

Who actually produced these anyway? I thought they were something offered threw dealerships originally, but I saw somewhere else that you could ordered them from Sears? Sorry if this subject has already been beat to death.
