mecum auction

Yes, Mecum is much more suited for us "common folk." I caught the 2nd half of today's broadcast. There were a number of 2nd gen F-bodies that went through but most were nothing extremely rare. One 3rd gen that got some good money was a '90 Iroc Z28 with only 1,500k miles. The thing that made it rare was that it was also a 1LE car, which I've only seen one other in person (and that was in a museum). Went for $24k.

There was a '86 GN that appeared to be modified and went for $18k. Not sure of the mileage on that one. Also sold an '87 GN with 52k miles that looked much more original. Sold for $18.5k.

Yep, 1pm-9pm Eastern. I think it's the same tomorrow and Saturday. The channel is Velocity on DirecTV it's channel 281. Used to be called HD Theater.

There has been in the past. I usually record the shows, much like Barrett Jackson, and then play them back at double or triple speed. Then I'll stop to watch anything I'm actually interested in. You can still see the prices and don't have to listen to the commentary.

is there ttas in mecum auction ?

Rob, do you still have your 79 TA? Looks like the values of those are really starting to take off. :hooray:
no i don't, after i had the seats recovered and a few other things the guy i bought it from just HAD to have it back, i did pretty good on it. i would guess at auction it would bring 35k+
