Lost a TTA, gained a GN....took delivery today

1987 GN, T-Tops, 3 owners, garaged its whole life...super clean!
Drives like new

Mods (all done in last 2k miles):
Injectors/ TT Chip
340 Fuel pump w/hot wire
TA49
3" DP
Comp 980 Valve springs
3 row radiator
trans cooler
Hallman boost controller
Hooker exhaust
new plugs, ign coil, wires
RJC plate
Rear main replaced
new shocks / tires
lots and lots of chrome

and the ironic part....this was the same owner of TTA 368 I bought last year....I thought this car was for sale so I called him..it wasn't...big misunderstanding...but since he thought I was interested we struck a deal.

(#368 must not leak as much as #545:eek:, if I had a lift, cars here would NOT be arranged with something above the GN)
 
88k miles believe it or not. I bought it on the higher side of the market value but it to find a life long garaged t-top car in that condition is getting harder and harder.

BTW - while Jim Dunn isn't a big chrome fan, he did the motor work as pictured at the request of the owner. MY TTA is just as clean. Anyone who needs work on their TTA and wants the motor to 'be brought back", here's a real life example of his work.

Big Jim Dunn is the MAN! I call Jim whenever I need info TB/TTA related.

We are lucky to have him in our small community. No one really ever made parts for our cars. Jim makes it possible for us. I have 2 custom parts that work absolutely wonderful on the car.

nice find the car looks really clean good luck with it,you have to put on your shades every time you open the hood wow that's bright.:cool1:
 
Looks like a great find. I agree with pont1230-need shades-but an exceptionally clean engine bay! Congrats!
 
Nice! Very clean looking GN and has a nice set of upgrades and they sound and look like they were done right!
I see you are utilizing the 2 post lift to cram more cars in, looks like my garage...the t-top TTA sat on the lift for about 2 years before selling it, and currently have the GN up there with the '95 under it, but still prefer not to have one up on the 2-post if I can help it..but sometimes you just can't. I did make a 4-inch pipe safety catch for the opposite side in case the chain decided to give loose. That's not a Benwill lift by chance?
 
The lift in from Greg smith. It's hydraulic and has safety catches on it. I'm in the process if modifying the last garage Door to be a high lift, then I'll put a 4 Post in that bay to stack them. I'm not worried about anything falling, but to use the lift I have to move 2 cars. I'm not getting rid of them so I might as well make this easy.
