Looking To Purchase Tta

Looking to spend around 20K, hopefully mid-high teens, for a 30-40k and under mile car in original, clean condition.

Located in Houston, but will consider vehicles from across US.

Let me know if you have or know of any fairly priced vehicles please!

I kinda messed up my username it looks like, but you can probably guess my email:
[email protected]

Thanks

If I find one off of a recomendation here, I'll offer a $200 finders gift.

I'm the original owner of a 36k TTA.
Look at my pictures on my website.
I will be listing on eBay soon as i get time, but you can take a look now. Always garage kept and treated very well its whole life. My dad was a Pontiac dealer, so it was always given the best service. $20k

Man, that's a really nice car! Very nicely done. I'm leaning more towards all stock vs modded but yours is tempting me to change my mind. Is motor, trans, and rear end stock or have they been modified? Any dyno numbers?

Rat's is very nicely modded. If you are looking for a garage queen, then all stock, if looking for one to enjoy and drive, Rat's is an awesome car and has been modded with only the best of parts, you can tell by the mods and the attention to detail that parts weren't just thrown on the car. I have a GN that is/was highly modded, it gets driven and not afraid to drive it..going through a motor build now :) The TTA has 28k miles and is stock and is mostly a garage queen..I had a 16k mile garage queen T-top TTA before, thinking I would drive the 28k mile car more...not since it is more rare... So pick your poison carefully. I must say, an original owner TTA is hard to come by. For someone to keep a car for 27 years speaks for itself for how much they care for the car rather than someone who owned it only a couple of years and beat on it.

Thanks, If you're wanting all stock remember that these owners or usually dealers think they have the holy grail TTA and want more than they are worth IMO, also some of those all stock cars have been left sitting too long, again just my opinion. I've seen low mile cars at the Buick events, but you start looking close and there is grime and goop all over the place. Look at the frame rail where the downpipe goes on my car. Bright white paint. Everytime I took the car out I would soon wash the car and then detail the engine bay every time or two.
Link at bottom of what some other cars are being listed.

The motor has never been modified, the heads have never been off the car, never a blown head gasket. All bolt on mods, which if you really wanted a stocker it could be made that way, but why would you want a small downpipe vs. a properly and professionally installed stainless steal REAL Terry Houston downpipe back on the car?

Which brings me to the positives, all the mods are the bolt on-s that everyone was doing that worked, no gimmicky crap. Turbo Tweak chip, Accufab smoother upper manifold, 65 mm Accufab throttle body, HKS turbo controller, Bosch fuel pump, SMC alky injection, CPT ball bearing Turbonetics turbo, 61mm compressor side and .63 turbine side (this turbo was $1450 new), AEM fule ratio gauge, fuel pressure and boost gauges and Scanmaster. 60# injectors that I got with matching Turbo Tweak Alky chip. The upper intake pipe is 3" not 2.5, Duttweiler modified intercooler intake and electric exhaust cutout that really wakes the car up, so much so that I left the stock muffler on, which it still runs great with the exhaust closed.

The best part of the car is that the weakest aspect of these cars has been identified and remedied with only the best. The 2004r transmission has been rebuilt by Art Carr the man himself. Not his company that he sold back in the 80's, but CPT performance transmission ($3500 rebuild and 2800 convertor - I have receipts) My dad talked to Art personally throughout the entire rebuild and dynoing of the transmission. Art has a GN himself so he knew what we wanted. Longevity and strength, but ultimately we wanted streetable manners. IMO this convertor and trans mod matched with the CPT 61mm turbo spools the way it came from the factory only better. In other words, with the supporting mods -2800 stall this car will wake your ass up when you get in the throttle. Coming off the line with 7psi-10psi on Micky T drag radials and your haulin some groceries! So, yes I have taken the car down the drag strip, but it wasn't abused, always ran 100 octane unleaded when I was going WOT. Car ran 11:90's/116mph.

The car was always stored in temp controlled garage. I always slowed down for railroad tracks, I never flew into parking lots with different pitched transitions raking the spoiler like many of these f-body cars were treated.

EDIT: I should list the negatives, the car needs a heater core. It's bypassed now and drive fine, you will just freeze your butt off in the cold winter, but who drives these cars in the snow and also I need to repait the antenna, but I listen to mp3 anyway, but the AC blows cold, so in Texas that's what matter more.

Anyway, I've had a tremendous time with this car, grew up with it. If I had a huge storage facility like Jay Leno I would keep it, but I need some space and to move on.

RatFink can't believe you're selling.
Yeah, I just don't have time anymore and now living closer to the city, space is at a premium, although I keep the TTA stored it's not as convenient to get to and I hardly have time to enjoy it.
Probably only drove the car 150 miles in the last year. I went to the Buick Nats last October and then a few drives on nice days this year.

That is probably the most honest assessment of a car I have ever read. Someone is going to get a great TTA. I agree with others about finding a one owner car too. Your asking price is very fair. I hope it does not sell to a dealer, who will try and flip it for a profit. It is too nice of a car for the bottom feeders.
