Indy winged emblem

The wing emblems are missing from my car. I know they make repros for $100 each but the previous owner of my car showed me these

Anybody use them?

A friend of mine who has dabbled in TTA's swears there's an emblem used on a Mustang Indy Pace car that is identical looking but made of plastic and around $20 each. Has anyone heard of that? He could be getting old and senile!

I got a set of Turbo badges from these guys. I wasnt impressed with the color of the white ceramic and the 3M tape was wayyy to thick. I ended up returning them and going to try a set from carmotorsports.

There were many Indy pace cars that used the winged tire emblem. I ordered a set from Classic Industries years ago that claimed they were for the TTA. When I got them they were each in a GM box that felt empty. I opened them up to find plastic emblems! They were most probably either used on the Corvette or Camaro but I sure did give Classic a piece of my mind. :guns:
