I know it is a Ford..

Shaddup boy. Your gonna get beat this weekend keep those comments up! :chair::chair:

That is most likely the only Ford I would consider owning! :D

Heading down Thursday morning! Jason might be there Thursday night or Friday afternoon. You going Chris? I'm in the host hotel. Heading out Sunday.

That was pretty cool! I love the Ford GT. One pulled into McD's the other day and went right through the puddles only to park right in with the daily's. Drove it around like it was his work car. Pretty Cool!
KID

You definately need to tell it now..

Ok kids gather around. I have 2, the first is best. So it was the Buick Nationals in Bowling Green Ky. I was about 21 at the time and going to WKU for art classed. So I brought my TTA back to town for that week. The town was crawling with hopped up GN's and I think there were maybe 3 TTAs. I was getting allot of attention from the GN's. Every stop light could be a potential race. Also, the local Mustangs are all fired up and these rednecks love to street race...so I guess I nailed about 4 mustangs within an hour of cruising. I remember racing the Lawrence Conley's T-shirt supplier he had a GN that was kinda stockish. Anyway it was Thursday night of the event, I was cruising out on the interstate just to get some air and listetn to some tunes and get away from my dumb ass room mates. So I come up on a GN getting ready to exit onto Natcher parkway off of I-65. I pass him and get over. He speeds up and gets behind me, naturally I get into some boost and was probably doing 90 mph. We exit and I shave off about 5 cars distance on him. The GN couldn't hang on the exit. He gets back with me and we both let it rip at the same time. We are both running neck and neck to about 130mph and I start pulling on him. I look in my mirror and here come blue lights. HOLY SHIT!! I guess the smokie clocked us before we even exited off of I-65. I stay in it, we have a hell of a lead and we are both approaching 140mph-ish. The guy in the GN has no idea a cop is behind us, he thinks I'm still racing, but at this point I'm running! I see a familiar exit ( I know that town and it's hiding places) I exit, the GN follows, I get out on the surface road and nail it, the GN follows still thinking we are racing, by the way from a slow roll I noticed that I'm making more power as I got about 2 cars in front of him. I slow down once entering the city area and duck into a suburban development that I know leads to a back country road. I'm only going 30 mph now. The GN is still following me. So I pull over, the cop is no where to be seen or heard. The GN pulls up and rolls down the window, and holy shit, a dude that I went to high school with me has bought a GN and wanted to talk. I told him about the cop and he turned white as a ghost, he never knew the whole time.

The next one, is not as as interesting. I was doing some test runs on the parkway on my way to Beach Bend Dragway, I was doing about 80mph and saw a cop on the other side of the road with blue light on. I thought, well I'm almost to the exit...Why not? I maxxed the speedo and boost gauge was on 20 psi. I got off the exit and went on into town at regular speed ( I never would drive fast in town, I'd rather get my ride pulled) I never saw him. I went on to the strip and had a hell of a night. 12.90's with a K&N and a cutout on the stock DP and some octane in the tank.

I miss College days:dirol:

If you can't lose 'em in the beginning, you're pretty much toast. Only time I didn't stop was when I was doing about 50ish in a 40 and passed a cop going the other way. He pulled a fast U-turn and I immediately turned into a neighborhood. I drove carefully (I know better than to speed thru a neighborhood!) and never saw him again. Popped back out and went on my way.

My mom tried getting off of an exit and got stuck with a $500 something ticket. The only time I have ever really seen my dad mad. :burnrubber::yes:
