How to tell factory Emblems from repos?

I have the emblems that came off of my parted out TTA #844. I know the car was painted before me and was wondering how to tell if they were ever replaced with repos. I also have a brand new rear white bird that was in the owners kit when I purchased the car. It is in mint condition so it would be nice if it were NOS.

not sure but the nos emblems were made by a small jewrey shop in ny

I did read that in a thread from a while ago. I always spend some time reading old posts and doing searches beore I bring up a old thread. Posted this on turbobuick.com also.

If you post some good photos of the emblems we should be able to help.

The rear bird emblem post front and back as that one is easy to tell if NOS or not.
