Well Sat was great, good weather though a bit warmer than I thought it would be. Quite a few Buicks and Pontiacs representing, and some of the F.A.S.T. cars were as quick as 10.45 @ 132+mph
I ran class M1 (13.50 and slower), ran a best of 13.57 @ 101.98, and ended up taking the win in my class with an .068 light and a MOV of .0651 against a 1967 Caprice 396 wagon that was dialed a 14.37
24 cars started in M1
Winners of M3, M2, and M1. The M2 car was interesting with a dash from a later model Caprice, an Olds steering wheel, and a 502 BBC engine
Anyway, the best part was that after going to a bunch of judged car shows lately my daughter has been wanting a trophy, and it's hard for a 3 year old to understand that daddy doesnt go to car shows for trophies but wins them by drag racing. So I made the mistake of promising to bring her home a trophy and the green car pulled it off
Looking forward to another great day today
