The guy has an interesting way to describe the car......uses excellent then says not perfect. Then points out issues.
To me excellent and perfect are real close and dosent involve dings, dents, or paint issues imo. He didn't keep ur car long robert.....buy it back lol
 
Just one of them things... do what you need to do, it was really cool owning it and enjoying but i just cannot mod a 1 of 15 ever made car.. and i like to mod cars.
 
Hey Robert, I know you didn't want to mod this car, but the guy that got it from you got alot of mods done to it a KDK in Orlando. I am like you I would have left it stock and original everything.
 
How do you lose a eng. ? beats me but i talked to the owner in Nevada that sold it to the next owner and he said funny thing was it still started and run with no noise.. just a stumble and nose over...
 
This was the FIRST TTA to run in the Silver State Classic and was owned by the co-founder of the race that is still run today... it has been in several mags dated sept 1990. this car will exceed 180mph the way i had it....no idea about the mods made by the new owner but i'm sure he has the org. stuff that come off....honestly i wish i never sold it because after all its one of 15...ever...o_O... this car was modded from the beginning when it was new, it is the first SSC TTA...:)
 
hmm, interesting it was purchased about 6 months ago for around your asking price I assume given our past discussions about trying to sell things, then sinks at least $2500 or so in mods, maybe more since I'm not factoring in a new Art Car tranny in there, all of which would devalue a stock 1 of 15 car, then wants to sell it for a tiny profit that wouldn't have been worth my time to mess with knowing that it run great when robert had it. Still a nice buy if you want a 1 of 15 car to mod. I would consider it if I knew more about the internals of the motor and could sell this darn 30th annv car :) Be cool to have 2 of the 15 in one garage!

It was a fresh stock rebuild on the 109, when Steven bought it in 2001 he drove it back to NY with the org. block and one new piston in the trunk...over the next 12yrs or so the org. block got misplaced, last time i talked to him it was still MIA.
 
I need another car like a hole in the head, I already have more than half the cost of that car into my GN engine build and I'm not done :(
