Would have been nice! If GM realy Wanted to send there performance division out with a bang, they could have took 689 Camaros and made a vary special last pontiac Trans Am. But no! Who cares what the consumer Want's "THERE WILL BE NO REBADGING!" This is one of the many small reasons GM is failing.

My first and hopefully only issue with the GXP today. A/C stopped blowing cold! 2000 miles and I hope this is not a sign of things to come. GM can build a world class powertrain but it’s the little stuff that drive people to Honda and Toyota. This should not be happening with these new GM's, they said they got their act together on Quality. Searched the G8 forum and at least 12 others mentioned same A/C problem. One guy reported a broken valve spring at 2300 miles and some of the 6 speed guys are reporting tranny leeks This is why I went away from GM after my ’99 Yukon, what a piece of crap! My last good GM was my ’94 Formula 1LE. If this car fails, never again!:explosion:

You know its kinda weird, I have both domestic & imports & I work on imports everyday (not going to mention the name-but lets just say theirs job security).
Example: On my 01" Tacoma, I went to the dealer to get parts, front pads/rotors. The pads & rotors were both made in the U.S.A, stamped on the boxes. All the parts I buy their are either U.S.A or Japan, & fit great every time. I've done the same thing on my buddy's 99" Yukon from the G.M dealer along with other parts & not 1 thing said made in USA, it was either Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia & China. In fact my new front marker lights for my TTA I just received from GM ,in the sealed factory bag is made in CHINA. What kinda !@#$ is that, its not just GM either, Chrysler & Ford are doing the same !@#$%. I got many more stories too, from working in the field everyday, so I see alot, but just wanted to keep this short. Anyway, Happy 40th :toot:
