Flat black cars just look unfinished - like they are in primer. That's a big turbo under there. Maybe it's the cover?

Believe it or not, than is an expensive paint job. The car was orig black but he painted it satin black. Don't have to worry about waxing it.
It has a big turbo, but there was a 86 t-type at the other end of the parking lot with even a larger turbo. He hoping the t-type will be in the 9's, he just got it back together. It was a two-tone paint and beautiful, should have got pics. All of the these guys do most of their own work on their cars.

yeah i like that satin black, some cars it really works on

What was so cool, is that these turbo buick guys have been around the buicks for a number of years and they have never saw a TTA.

I dont care for the "flat" look paint either. I'm sure its expensive, but it reminds me if what the ricer people do with their cars.

Congrats Rob on the win!
