George, you like VW's ?

Hey George,

Obviously I live only a few minutes from you so I figured I would tell you that I just bought a 69 VW bug to begin a build up on. I dont know if your interested in VW's or not, but if you are, you should come down and wrench on this thing with me.

I am most likely going to put a beefed transaxle from rancho in it bolted up to a 2110cc big bore motor(strokers arent my personal preference) A 2 inch front drop will work and then I plan to leave the rear stock height and run some sort of drag slick for traction. It should run in the 12's depending on motor setup (comp ratio, cam, timing, fuel etc.)

Let me know if your interested.

Hi!
My dad had a VW way way back in time! I never worked on them or knew anybody who had one. All my friends seemed to have Trans Ams or Camaros!
Maybe this summer I can find the time to drive down to where you are, and chat car stuff all day!
Right now, I am busy with my dad, who is having some medical problems.
I will be making to a local car show in Tustin on Feb. 1st. Maybe you can show up, to either show your car, or check out all the others!

Have a good one,

George
