Fuel vapor canister FYI

My charcoal (fuel vapor) canister is missing from my car. I'm guessing to fit the air intake pipe and filter in it was removed at some point. Amazingly, it's still available from GM so I have a new one coming. It's not the same as a Buick (at least the part numbers are different anyways) and the Buick one was discontinued in May 0f '08. I'd imagine the TTA one will be dropped any second now. FYI

Good find, can you post the GM part number and price? And maybe a picture or two when you get it.

Part number is 17092109 and list price is $124.64. My buddy sells to me 10% over cost on most stuff so it cost me $71.92 with tax.

Just tried to find one of these today. Local GM dealer told me it is a discontinued part. I did find them at Rock Auto, though:
