what's up people, need some help again!!! i just installed a new fuel pump on my turbo t/a, now my question is when i plug the electrical connection back in to the top of the pump {new pump} should i possibly apply some kind of silicone or something to the connection so if there is a possible spark when it make's the connection, so me and my car don't blow up? i've never replaced a fuel pump before, and i didn't see any evidence of any coating on the old pump at all {electrical connection} does this matter? should i not woorry about this and get some sleep or what, i can't find anyone who know's anything about this. i've been waiting for five day's to install this thing already!!!!! thank's

dont worry, i once thought about that also. Just install the new one like the old one was and you should have no problems.

thank's chris.............a lot, now i can not feel so uneasy when i go to turn the key!!! i'll let you all know how thing's turned out. :D
