Floor mats

Hey guys,another TTA question.While checking out a TTA for sale,the owner says he does'nt have the orig mats,are they specific to TTA's?I have seen the ones that say Turbo Trans AM in alot of cars,are those the originals?
Is it a big deal if the car does'nt have the orig mats?

They are just Beechwood Third generation F body floor mats. They should have a little rubber GM symbol glued to the front mats. You could get some nice replacements, but nothing will match the color exactly.

IMO not a deal breaker on a car purchase. The floor mats are one of those items you can get aftermarket with something embroidered on them to dress up your interior a little. As 8289ta said, its very hard to get an exact match on color. I got one orig GM front mat with my car, but it was pretty worn.

No,did'nt mean to sound like it could be a deal breaker,just saying,he made it sound like they were something real special.

But....the car I'm speaking about does'nt have a owners kit,now that is alittle on the down side because it should have it,IMO,and now means I'd want to find one for it,$$$$$$ !

Tell the guy to take off a grand for the owner's kit. (It's worth a try)
